The Sunflower State
I have been capturing photographs for almost 25 years now, beginning at a young age. My passion is to capture the beauty of nature and share it with others. To do this, I have created a special section on my website called "Photographer's Journal", where I share images of the places I have visited in Kansas. Additionally, I recommend the best spots for you to visit and enjoy the beauty of The Sunflower State.
Before moving to Kansas in 2023, I lived in Arizona and Colorado, both of which are known for their unique photogenic locations. When I first moved to Kansas, I thought it was a flat and boring state, with nothing cool to see except for flat lands and grass. However, I have since discovered that this is not true. Kansas has some hidden and fantastic beauty that is waiting for you to explore. All you need to do is drive off the interstate, and you will be amazed by the scenic beauty that lies beyond.
To share my experiences with you, I post each adventure that I undertake as a new page under the Photographer's Journal section of my website. It is a great way for you to see the beauty of Kansas through my eyes. Rock Formations~ These locations are good for having a Sandstone, or Rocky Backdrop to break up the long grassy plains images. They are also great locations for Astrophotography.
Monument Rock~ 28 Miles South of Oakley, KS
Castle Rock~ 21 Miles South of Quinter, KS
State Parks~ Each State Park has a unique look to it, but they all are beautiful.

Hays~ This is my new hometown here in the Sunflower State. We have had some amazing opurtunities to take photos around the area. If you are going to get photos here, be mindful of the property lines, and get permision for any Private Property locations.
